I love writing.
Tiny problem: I still don’t really know how. I arrived in this country as a teenager knowing exactly two English words; both stolen from a cheesy 1980s TV show. No big deal. Years later, I graduated college and made English my everyday language.
Speaking? Conquered.
Writing? That’s another country entirely; full of invisible rules, exceptions, and gatekeepers who act like beautiful sentences are a birthright.
Then I met AI. Suddenly, my chaotic thoughts came back dressed in perfect paragraphs, flowing like they’d always belonged that way.
I was jealous.
So I’m doing the unthinkable: I’m going to learn how to write like the machine does.
I will also use my writing as a tool for healing.
This is that journey; raw, ridiculous, and (I hope) useful.
I’m absolutely in love with Montessori’s grammar symbols and sentence analysis. Watching one move the black triangle for the noun or the red circle for the verb, and suddenly seeing how sentences work is pure magic. These hands-on tools turn abstract grammar into a joyful, concrete puzzle—and make kids (and grown-ups) fall in love with the beauty of language.
